Travel Information for the European FITASC Sporting Championships May 2010 - St Petersburg Russia

For those of you who are considering or are un-sure of the requirements or costs for travelling to the FITASC Sporting European Championships at the Nevsky Shooting Club Saint Petersburg, then you may find the following information very useful.

- Flights may be obtained direct from London Heathrow to Pulkovo Airport, Code: LED return from £275
- Accommodation using the special arrangements for 7 days will cost approximately £500 for B+B 4*/3*
- A Visa will be required obtainable from: vesglobal.co.uk this firm is the recognised UK Russian Consulate provider. Cost of the Visa will be £75:85p this is £25:85p handling fee by vesglobal and £50 for the Visa.
- Visas will normally be turned around within 7 working days.
- For the Visa you will need to provide the following:

- Passport must have 6 months remaining for visit duration and 2 blank pages for the visa
- Current photograph of yourself 3 x 4 cm (dated on reverse)
- Completed signed electronic application form from vesglobal web site
- Postal order for the full amount (cheques are not accepted) payable to RNT Ltd
- Post Office Special Delivery Envelope (SDE) for P+P return
- List of last 10 countries visited
- Spouse details
- Contact details of last 2 employers NB: if self employed or un-employed i.e. retired then you will be required to provide 3 months worth of current bank statements (required to prove you have access to £100 daily for the duration of your visit)
- List of professional bodies civil and charity organisations that you belong to if any
- Post High School education if applicable
- Visit supporting documentation provided by the hotel you book into and or travel company you book through
