FITASC Sporting Newsletter, issue 1, June 7th 2007

Welcome to the first FITASC E-Newsletter. Thank you for signing up!
 
We have been very pleased with the response to the site and hope that you are finding it useful. Thank you to all those who have contributed to the content so far. It has been a great help in getting the site up and running in such a short space of time.
 
We encourage you to continue to spread the word about the site's existence and also appeal to all shooting grounds hosting FITASC events in the future for your help in promoting the website. You can do this by sending in any scores, reports or photographs, links to your website that we can add etc. to keep the site and FITASC enthusiasts updated!
 
Revamp of Site
To give the site more of a professional touch, we have recently changed the look and feel of the site. Again, any suggestions on what else we could include on the site, please fill in the feedback form provided.
 
Early Success in 2007
Congratulations to those shooters who have already reported success in their FITASC events this year, particularly to George Digweed for winning the Pan African Championship in April. You can read more about how he got on by visiting the News section of the website.
 
Reminder - FREE Banner advertising in 2007.
Remember you can still take advantage of FREE Banner Advertising on the website until the end of the year. Anyone with a product or service relevant to FITASC sporting can place a banner advertisement on this site. After this date we will provide statistics on the number of clicks on your banner and will offer you a "pay per click" fee to keep the banner live.

Changes to European & World Teams
We have recently received notification from Hugh Smith (Chairman of the FITASC Sporting sub-committe)of the nominated captains for both events this year. The European Team Captain will be Neville Jay and for the World Team it is Steve Brightwell. Changes have also been made to the Senior reserves. Both the original 1st and 2nd reserves withdrew, allowing Neil Bedingfield to accept the reserve position. Also, Paddy Howe has withdrawn from the Worlds Team and Mike Gammon has accepted the challenge.
 
FITASC Sporting Date Changes
The Brondai FITASC Sporting selection shoot date has changed from 1st & 2nd September to the 8th & 9th September 2007.
 
Weston Wood Shooting Ground 100-Bird Competition has changed from the 20th June to the 5th July 2007 due to it coinciding with the European Championship.

Remember that any news or debates relevant to FITASC can be discussed on the Forum of the website. Thank you to all those who have already posted messages.
 
Any further news or developments to the sport will be sent to you as it comes in.
