After much careful consideration Krieghoff have very reluctantly taken the decision not to stage a Krieghoff Classic FITASC in 2007. Many factors were taken into account but not least the number of FITASC events taking place around the preferred date.
Krieghoff spokesman, Alan Rhone said, " We are always mindful of the not inconsiderable expense associated with major FITASC competitions and we just felt that this was one event too many in an already crowded calendar. We did not take this decision lightly as it is an event we very much enjoy. Be assured that we will be back in 2008 and aim to make the event better than ever. To compensate in part we have decided to provide sponsorship for the FITASC event held following the Home International at Lakenheath on 30th September. I am discussing the possibilities with Pete Usher at Lakenheath and we will announce the details once they are agreed."
