2009 FITASC World Sporting Championships - Venue Change
ATTENTION CHANGE OF VENUE.
Due to the fact that the areas of land required to conduct a World Championship at Little River are no longer available, Federation have had to source a new host for the event.
The 2009 FITASC World Sporting Championships will now be conducted at the Laang Sporting Clay Range of the Warrnambool Branch of the SSAA (Vic).
This is the site of the hugely successful Australian Sporting Clay Nationals in 2006.
With additional areas of fantastic shooting terrain for new Ranges available, this will be an event to remember.
Warrnambool is a large provincial city on the South-West coast of Victoria.
It is 263 klm from Melbourne straight down the Princes Highway.(3 hours driving).
Excellent accommodation and restaurants are plentiful in the area.
For those who like a scenic drive, The Great Ocean Road stretches from Anglesea to Warrnambool. (5 hours drive)
FITASC have accepted the change of venue and the event will be conducted from the 16th to 22nd November 2009
Regards
Ray McFarlane
Vice President FITASC
